New RT Rear Fender

I have the most wonderful husband in the world! I did not like the stock RT Rear Fender so he figured out a way to get it painted. Danny Ferris in Cuba, MO can fix you up. From day 1 I have wanted a shorter rear fender to show off the back tire so he went to work figuring out what would look better and make me happy (shut me up). Ya'll know what the stock one looks like so here are photos of stock painted and the brand new shorter rear fender which I love!!! We just returned from a 2 week trip 1800 miles approx and no problems whatsoever! I also added a black rear wheel and sprocket cover when I had the Cowtown Performance Tune put on. I am happy nowhyea:

Looks very nice! For me, the rear tire throws too much dirt up the back of the bike now - add a trailer, and both would become messy too soon. JMHO...

This is a brand new rear fender made of fiberglass. We just returned from a 2 week trip and what I noticed was there was less dirt on the rear of the Spyder with the new fender compared to the stock. My husband says that it has to do with less fender and the shape at the bottom compared to the stock. I asked my husband about adding a mud flap and he said that he used longer license plate screws so that a mud flap could be added when pulling a trailer.
