New RT Limited owner in North Georgia Mountains

My wife Melody and I bought a new 2013 Pearl White brown seat RT Limited from Mountain Motorsports in Marietta GA.
I picked it up in my trailer Last Tuesday and transpored it back to our home In Ellijay GA. When I went to take it off the trailer I got a check transmission warning. I called my salesman and he said that they would pay to have it transpored back to the dealer. On Wednesday the flatbed tow truck arrived and picked it for the trip b ack to the dealer. The dealer had the part (Shift Solenoid) overnited and installed. They also had received the rt-622 hitch kit (trailer on order)and the Bluetooth AM FM stereo kit. So all were installed on Thursday. I made the trip back to Marrieta and picked it up and it is now sitting in our garage. The dealer was fantastic.

My wife and I are new to riding and are looking for advice on Jackets and raingear. Are the Can Am jackets good?

We bought SHOIE NEOTECH helmets with Sena SMH-10 headsets.

Any suggestions on jackets and rain gear would be appreciated.

We have registered for The Syder Owners conf in Maggie Valley and are looking forward to meeting and making friends with other Spyder owners.

We have found Frog Togs raingear to be the best we have ever used. I keeps you dry and still allows your skin to breathe. Frog Togs stow away in small places and dry quickly once the rain has passed.

I can't speak to the Can Am jackets as we just continue to use the leather attire we've been using for the past (too) many years

:welcome: and :congrats: on the new ryde. There are lots of choices for jackets and raingear. The BRP branded stuff is real good. The biggest complaint is the price. Firstgear is another good brand. There is a vendor on site that sells some of the Firstgear. There are many other vendors on line that sell the full line.

Revzilla and Motorcycle Superstore are mentioned often.

Sounds like you have a caring dealership. That is good treat them with care. We have the Can-Am rain gear it's great. Make me a good offer and you can have our like new Bullfrogs by Froggtogs. Not enough reflectivity to suit my "everything should glow in the dark" wife.

have a friend in Deltona they both have Can-Am convertible grey jackets. Pricey but comfortable Abe to handle our finicky weather.
