• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I saw this Spyder at Daytona and the BRP rep said that the rims will be available in a few months. Notice the rear as well.

Delivery date 2010 if your lucky

Over a year ago a BRP rep told me that their large Winshield would be available soon, even showed me pictures of it in a brochure....its still not available and ready to order. Think about 2010 for these new wheels at a minimum and in the meanwhile many other aftermarket vendors will beat them too it........

I like the upgrade ones they have now...black rims don't do much for me...enjoy though...if they float your boat, that's all that matters...

Did anyone ask the reps about the problems the spyder's are having especially the SE5. Are they fixing them all and are the 09 ok. They should be looking to fix all the bugs first before adding new stuff.

I really like the stock wheels on the Spyder - I would love to do an experiment - have the Spyders come with the 6 spoke and then introduce the real stock wheels as the new sporty upgrade.......... how many would switch?
;)

That's actually an interesting point...I like the stock wheels I have too...the upgrades look a little more beefy, but I am quite happy with what the bike came with...I'd likely upgrade if I had some extra cash, but for now, I'll stick with stock...good enough!

Not to change this thread, but to answer burg650s question, I did indeed ask the rep about the problems with the SE-5 since mine was one of them. He said he had no knowledge of any problems, and that BRP was increasing production of that particular model because of increased demand.
