• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Rever feature - turn GoPro on & start recording. Set-up video

Rever added a new feature to their app. You can now use it to turn on your GoPro and start recording. There have been a few times when I was going to use the remote on my handlebars but I got so into the ride that by the time we got to our destination for lunch I totally forgot to hit the record button!

So this new feature is going to help when I forget. I made a video of how to set it up. If you figure out more about it, I’d like to know.

Thanks for sharing. I have multiple GoPros, and it does not connect to any of them. Probably going to have to remove the Hero 5 connection and use the Hero 10. Will try that tomorrow.

I found that I had to either remove the batteries from the other GoPro’s or only have the one I want to connect to nearby. Otherwise it will try to connect to all and there was no option to choose.

I got the Go Pro 10 connected. Had to take the battery out of the 5 and then the 10 connected almost immediately. Now will have to take a ride to see if it works.
