• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Powdercoated Rack from the InspectorGadget!

I "was" the proud owner of RL's second ever RT rack produced. Recently he sent me a "RTRack V.2.0" upgrade, powercoated version. The one I had previously was painted black..the new one is powercoated silver.

Last summer we had the V.1.0 with our KiddoHuT strapped to it. We traveled around 5K miles without a hitch. I do believe you could easily over load this rack and do damage to the trunk lid before the rack would bend.

So, if you SL's are looking for some extra space to strap stuff(especially if you are considering a dog container for your canine Spyderlover), I highly recommend this product.* Attached is a pic of it on our RT.

*disclaimer: not a paid endorsement..just a fact. ;)

I have also ordered and should get a rack this week. How many pounds do you put on it and how much does it move and does the lid still stay up when open? And lastly, what breed of dog is that you have the picture of.

How can I contact the vendor? I am interested in something like this for the bottom of a design I have for a dog carrier for an 09 GS!

Exciting! (Also it would have to work with Corbin side bags...

Crizazy!

We only put our Kiddo pooch plus her carrier onto the rack.. She weighs 9 lbs and the carrier may weigh..possibly 4 lbs. So 13-14 lbs tops.

The lid stays up with no problem with the rack installed.

I m not sure what you mean about *how much does it move*. The rack itself is bolted solidly to the trunk lid. The dog container is solidly strapped to the rack and does not move at all.

Our Kiddo-pookie is a Shih-tzu/Pomeranian mix.

Looks like a nice rack. Sure like to know how he gets away with selling licensed BRP and Spyder logo's. :dontknow:

Thanks for the information on the rack and we also have a shih-tzu/pomeranian with hair to the ground and a shih-tzu that is also all black.
