• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi Everyone- After reading previous posts about how long it takes to get the Can-am Owners Welcome Kit from BRP I was quite surprised to receive mine yesterday (7/25) when I only picked up my new RT-S on 6/16. I quess I'm just lucky! BTW- LOVE THIS BIKE!!!

It appears that they send them out once a quarter so your luck is that u bought near the end of a quarter:congrats:

This is our third Spyder, but our very first full welcome kit. Mine arrived last week. It should have been sooner, but my dealer neglected to register my Spyder warranty until Carlo brought it to our attention. I am really gonna like having the cards to hand out at appropriate times.

My guess is that if you called BRP and asked for more cards--you would probably get them 2nd day air or something fast like that.

I must have been extremely lucky and didn't realize it...I received my welcome kit yesterday. It only took three weeks!!

Give you a hint... DO NOT put the pin on your ryding jacket... I did, and it flew off on the freeway :(

Yep, still waiting here. Purchased our RS on 4/15, but no kit.:cus::popcorn:
Most likely your dealer failed to properly register your warranty. Have them check the BRP system to assure that it is registered, and is registered under your name.

Not quite sure how to do that. Direction please.:2thumbs:
Contact your dealer and ask them to verify that the warranty is registered and is under your name. If possible, have them provide a printout from the BRP system as proof. You cannot do this yourself.

Picked up my spyder early June and no kit yet,,,Could it be that I wont get one because my spyder was a 09 leftover??

Now thats kind of strange you mention about the demo. Mine was a demo, and was registered correctly. Went to the dealer today and they printed everything right out. Got the 800 number, and they knew who I was and said it would get to me in a month or 2. Not a huge wait considering it has already been over 3 months.
If you did or do get a demo model, it seems you ca nstill get the kit, you jsut gotta call and ask.

Thanks for the help figuring this out.:2thumbs:

You are right, it should not matter. Unfortunately, sometimes the demos are not handled right, however, and they end up registered in the dealer's name. The warranty can be readily transferred if the dealer does so, but sometimes there is no owner's kit as a result.
