Good Day everyone,

Well i have had my 2015 ST-LTD Matte Blue. Have already put 220 miles on her. Well got the laser alignment done, helped with the shaking and vibrating. Now i rode it today was sitting at a stop sign and she cuts off on me. no codes come up nothing just cuts off. I turn the key off then back on and she started back up and i rode her home. So now i have been searching about this problem. Looks like she may have to go back to the shop because i do not feel like having her shut off on me on the highway at 70 like it happened to someone else in this forum.

:welcome: and :congrats: Not a lot of information here, but is it possible you may have done something to cause the shutdown? A new machine might be teaching the computer, and a glitch may have happened.

If the problem persists, you should take it back to the dealer. I see you checked for codes.

Shut off

Not sure i checked all the normal things, battery cables, connectors and all that even opened and closed my fuel cap. No problems getting her home. If it happens again i will be taking it back. For now because they gave her to me straight out of the create maybe will have some glitches. But we will see if she does it again. I will be taking her back.

Welcome to the Spyder world. Mine did the same thing a few times. Once I got about 600 miles it stopped doing it. I read on the boards here that others have had the same issue.

to both the spyder world and this quirky site..:roflblack: congrats on your new ryde..!!:2thumbs:. Happens to many but clears up with a few more miles. If no codes come up and once you restart things are fine you most likely had a glitch, idle drop or something of that ilk. :thumbup:

I bought a 2012 RT, in May of 2012. As
was riding around the dealership the display kelp on rebooting. They didn't know what the problem was kelp it over the weekend, no more problems. Gave me an extra year warranty. Have 15k on it now, haven't had any issues since.

You will a lot of useful info on this site.
