• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just bought a used 2013 ST Limited Spyder, white with 2,800 miles on it. It has had Can-Am hitch, Fog lights, sport exhaust, passenger back rest, Bajaron sway bar and spyderpop bump skid.
I haven't got it home yet, still waiting on the paperwork at the bank to clear. My wife have been looking at them for a couple years and found this one on Craigslist for $7K less than what they were asking for it at the dealer six months ago. We looked at the bike at the dealer when it was new last year. The previous owner bought it decked it out with all the add ons and decided to downsize his collection of toys.
This is my wife and I's first big bike. I bought a Kawasaki KLR 250 to put around on and for my wife to see if she liked riding. She had never been on a bike before. She loved it and we decided to go with something with a better seat and something a little safer than a two wheeler.
This is the picture from the CL ad. All the stuff wasn't added before this picture was taken.

Enjoy.. I have had everything from 100cc to 1500 GoldWing . I enjoy my Spyder the most. Might be because I'm over 70 now :ohyea:. Noticed on your profile USAF retired. Spent from 61 to 69 in in USAF. Nice thing about living in Texas is all year riding. Welcome and congratulations.

Too Young!

Sorry but you look too young to be driving that thing around!

Have fun with your new toy!!!

Ask Bob he's a specialist...:roflblack: enjoy..!!

Thanks everyone, I got it home last night. It was a scarey white knuckle ride on the interstate for a first timer. I should have waited to pick it up, between work and school and other stuff it would have been Sunday if I would have waited. The wife and I took a short ride around the house and she really like the seat over the Kawasaki 250.

The "White knuckle" thing; never works well with these bikes...
I know that it's tough, but try to keep a relaxed, light grip on the bars; it'll keep you from trying to over-control the bike.

Looking good

It also looks like you need to contact BRP to get those panels replaced with the new airflow panels. Search the other threads here to see how to get that done.

I saw that and I forgot to ask at the dealer. We went to the local shop to look at jackets and riding gear and forgot to ask. They are a short ride away and have a pretty good rep for service.
