NEW IPOD will it work with RT?

Has anyone had a new IPOD work with the RT factory harness? I have an old IPOD works fine. I was pondering buying a new one for the WIFI ability

I purchased a new Ipod 6th Generation Nano 16gb in Nov to replace my old 4th Gen Nano

I have a Spyder RT - S SES 2010 Model and its working fine when connected via the Ipod lead in the rear trunk

I did want to find out if the Ipod stays on once the Spyder is switched off - I believe it goes into standby mode (on but not playing)

As i mentioned on the other forum you asked this on, you need to tell us which iPod you are talking about. I'm sure it will work fine. Not sure why you are specifically asking about the wifi though.

My Missus surprised me with some sort of Nano thingie to distract me from the P.M.S. 7.35 gig of room in it... I know that it'll plug in since that's the only part of my bike tht I have at home for now! :gaah: I've been stuffing ti so full of my choice if noise that if I don't get my Spyder home soon I'm gonna bust!

I did not want to use the wifi when hooked to the RT just the music feature. I guess the plg is the same?

You can disable wifi on the ipod. There's really no reason to because you're going to be charging the ipod anyway as you drive so it dosen't matter if it's looking for a wifi signal.
