• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New guy here from Ontario Canada

Thought I should introduce myself.
After fifty five years of riding motorcycles, I had to stop because I physically could not safely ride any more.
A friend who has owned two Spyders said that I should try a three wheeeler.
Now I am seriously looking at a Ryker.
Been ghosting here for a while, and everyone here seems friendly and helpful.
So here I am with lots of questions.

Welcome from the PNW. I'm taking a stab in the dark here....do you know a Victory rider named Rob?

Welcome from Central Utah. Glad to see you and good luck on your search. My mother was from Brantford.
I too came from 50+years on 2wheelers but and accident but me on three. I now have over 60,000 miles on Spyders and love it.

:welcome:

I too came from riding 2 wheeled motorcycles as at passenger for 16 years. In 2012 I bought my first spyder. Then I upgraded to my current spyder module( 2014 RTS-SE6 "the 1330 ace engine) and never looked back.

Glad you found this site.

Deanna

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome.
Ricz, sorry I can't say that I do.
Pegasus, I live just down the road from Brantford.

Ontario here as well (Leamington). I moved from 2 wheels to 3 about two years ago... and have never looked back!! On the road currently in the Mt Tremblant area of Quebec in a group of 6 guys ranging from late 50's to early 70's .... A Goldwing, a Concours, an Africa Twin and 3 Spyders. We all keep up with each other, all roll hard down the highway and the twisties and ALL have a total blast!!

Wow who would have thought Ontario would become such a hotbed of Spyder/Ryker activity? Welcome all from Ontario from Central Utah.

Just ask away… You’ll find someone here who will have an answer…. Sometimes many different ones.

We too, came from Ontario (Hamilton) many moons ago and have travelled extensively throughout the countryside.

Welcome.
