New gas cap......... Do you need one????

Is there any spyder lover out there that has bought their bike used?? If so, I have an extra new gas cap.. BRP sent me 2.. One for my 09 RS that i no longer have an one for my 11 Rt.. If you didnt get one please let me know an I will send my extra one to you.. You just pay shipping.. Shouldnt be over 5.00.. For the RECORD.. I am not trying to sell this.. I am giving it away...

Did you ever ask a dealer as to who the new owner is, ''On'' any vehicle that you traded in? ':dontknow:
They Won't tell you., Especially when they wholesaled it out.

I know who had my old bike, and for the profit they made on reselling it. They can afford to buy a new one for the new owner that bought it.

If and that's a big if, But if the previous owner left the owner's manual [I know i did] with the Spyder there's a change of owners form in the back. That way BRP will put you in their system. :thumbup:

I bought mine used but since I registered it with BRP they sent me one. So if you are not registered then you should.

We picked up ours used, registered with BRP as owners of that VIN and received confirmation, but haven't seen the new cap yet.

If anyone bought a used Spyder but not from a dealer, a Spyder dealer can get it registered for you with BRP. When I had my used RT serviced at Reno's in KC, I asked them to register it for me. Yesterday I received my replacement gas cap. The letter that came with th cap said that if you bought one, let them know and they'd reimburse you.
