• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New forum for our Down Under friends

Well, great to see we have our own sub-forum on this site. Thanks, Lamonster.

Hey, I just found this site, but I am new to this kind of thing. Hope I can meet up with some Spyder riders from down my way some time. I will be getting my RT-S SM5 when they become available in Dec/Jan.

Hello Guys/Girls as the case may be.

Gavin in Melbourne here. Over the course of the last 5 years I have become an "enabled" rider, so I'm actually looking to try a Spyder out for comfort, but what I would really like to do is:

a) make it a camber steering (leaning) machine for starters (need zero roll G forces); and

b) talk Vicroads into letting me make it into a 4-wheeler.

Gunna take some doing I take it, but I'll have a go. Got to find someone to build the Camber steering first, anyone know anybody in the US or Australia who can make me such a system? But I don't want to use a company that is already doing it, as I'm not interested in me paying them to make my idea up to re-sell to other users. If it's going to be good, I want to re-sell it to other users. ;)

I'm sure Lamont would be very happy with your post... However, the thread is over 14 years old, so I'm pretty sure He'll never read it... You could send Him a PM?! JMHO... Mike

Especially in here, it doesn’t matter how old the original post is, Mike - it will still appear in What’s New as a current post, so Lamont could well see it. ;)
