My wife traded in her 2014 ST Limited for a leftover 2016 F3 Triple black. We were at the dealer to buy her a new helmet and I told her to test ride the new Spyder, she was like "I am happy with my bike", I said it doesn't hurt to test ride a new one. After a minute down the street on a test ride all she kept saying was OMG what a difference, this is so much faster, handles so much better, sounds completely different, she couldn't believe how well it cornered compared to her ST. She fell in love immediately!!! That was one expensive helmet....yes, we did end up buying a new helmet too, she needed one to match her new bike. I am happy for her, I know that feeling of a new completely different bike. After riding home with her, she was behind me and all I kept seeing was that yellowish headlight....ugh, that has to go. Well I ordered a few things from Lamonster and BRP. Here's some before and after photos..... I added Shad side bags which matched perfect with her bike, Shad bag liners, BRP frunk liner, BRP heated grips, changed out the handlebars and brake linkage to fit her size, USB phone charger and then from Lamonster we added LED headlights, LED fog lights with LED halo rings and Wiredux daytime running lights...all of Lamonster stuff is awesome, plug n play, so easy to install, great directions or videos on line. I own a BMW RT and I thought that was fairly easy to work on and her old ST Limited was a pain to remove all that tupperware. I have to say the F3 is by far the easier bike I have ever worked on or installed farkals too and BRP is awesome with their added customer supply auxiliary hook up spots and switches are all prewired, like heated grips and fog lights. Our last ride down the highway she was getting alot of helmet buffering, so I added the MRA X-creen Tour
blade to her Blueridge windshield, I did the permanent bolt-on one which meant I had to drill four holes into the windshield which really wasn't a big deal with the excellent directions that came with it. I think it came out great and looks factory. I think she is all set now and we are ready for some riding!
