• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Dash Farkle - Clean up the "bare screw" look of the Spyder RT dash - Video

Hate the bare screw look on the dash of a Spyder RT?
I looked for a long time to try to find plug caps, etc to cover the screw holes in the dash bezel.
I went to all kinds of "fastener" places looking. Everything was American thread not Metric.

Finally found something that worked on Ebay.

Hope you like the idea and video.

Enjoy,
Bob

Very nice mod. I have used the chrome buttons from Harley Davidson on all my Allen wrench bolt heads which push in to the hex slots.

I looked at those but they would not work on these screws due to the depth and angle of the bezel's holes.

I think you found a great work around. You gave me an idea here. Tandy Leather has threaded chrome spikes that I have in the garage that I have used for many projects that just might work. They are very close to what you found in size.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1416676460.638310.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1416676470.853404.jpg
