New & confused about intercom

I'm looking at a 2010 RT with the audio package. The dealer wants $800 for the Intercom wiring w/ CB. Don't they make a system w/o the CB? I have done a search on this site and now I'm really confused. Is there an aftermarket intercom system that uses the audio package from the spyder. I would also like to have the ability to use my cell phone.

They've got you in a box, haven't they? Sorry, nothing available without the CB (plus you have to purchase the entertainment harness and headsets). Nothing that will utilize the Spyder audio system, either. I suggest a stand-alone aftermarket system, either wireless or wired. The Cardo Scala Q4 is a wireless (bluetooth) system that does well, and there are others. I prefer the Starcom1 wired systems, but there are choices there, too. Several references here on the forum if you search. I'm sure some other SpyderLovers can chime in with their recommendations and experiences.
