• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

On the Can am Spyder Build-it website, they list a driver's adjustable backrest ($449) AND a retrofit upgrade driver's backrest bracket for the 2014/15 non-adjustable driver's backrest ($79), for both the OEM production and the optional Comfort Seat.

I really like the fact that they're responding to market forces...

...But it's still a pretty expensive backrest!

Hello Steve, I red in the web that you can sent the Spyder icon in an e-
mail. I would appreciate if you sent it to my direction: [email protected].
Thanks, Joaquin

Thanks for the heads up. Found the upgrade kit for the 2014 RT in the 2016 online virtual catalog but nowhere online as an accessory currently available for ordering. My dealer's parts department found it on the dealer's website and said it looks like it's back ordered and not actually available until 12-23-2015. I've placed my order and they"ll let me know if they find out anything further about availability. Thanks again.

Could you please post the part number.
I've looked in the catalog and I've looked in the parts list, and I just can't find it.
Thank in advance for your help.

Sure. For the 2014 RT production seat (NOT comfort seat) it is part# 219400682. That is the number I found in the online virtual 2016 catalog, and the number that my dealer used to find it on the dealer website.

Here's the link to the catalog. I think the backrest kit is on page 85.
