• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New 2014 RT-S Delivered Tomorrow

I finally pulled the trigger and traded my 2013 RT LTD for a 2014 RT-S. The dealer is transferring my XM radio module and my trailer hitch, along with a few smaller accessories, and they will add a mount for the GPS I already had. I'm going to paint my old trailer, as BRP is no longer producing the congnac color.

The bad news is that in 18 months my old bike lost half its value. I couldn't come close to the numbers reported by others in different parts of the country who were making similar trades. I priced it through several dealers too. The deal cost me about 12.5K out the door.

So tomorrow I'll be enjoying that amazing engine as I ride roads surrounded by fall foliage. Christmas came early this year!

:congrats: on your 2014RT-S, :nopic: you will love the 14RTS-SE6, they are an AWESOME machine, you will really like the 1330 ACE Engine etc, ,and welcome to the COGNAC CLUB. ( I bought my 14RTS-SE6 Cognac on July 30th , this is my 2nd spyder.) Deanna

I had my 2013 for 11 months and it cost me $11.500 out the door. You did not do too bad. I also traded up from a 2013 RT-s to a 2014 RT-L. About $2000 difference between the the two.

You will definitely be glad that you traded. I know it is hard to swallow the depreciation but the 2014 is so much better than the 2013.

You will love this awesome ride!! And the better gas mileage will make a big dent in your out the door! We rode a few days ago with a '10 RS and a '13RTS and they were having to stop for gas when we had almost 1/2 of a tank left. Depending on what we are doing 2 up we get 32-38 mpg. Congrats!

I hear ya, I went from the 2012 A&C to the 2014 RT-S and even with only 4k on the clock my 2012 was valued under 13k. Not much you can do, depreciation is what it is.

I'm much happier with the '14 and that's what counts.
