• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have a 2011 rts that I bought brand new last June . My left tire has a bubble on the sidewall. It only has 6600 miles on them. I also have the best warranty. My question is who pays for the tire. I am taking it to the dealership in the am. There telling me it goes by tread wear . I don't feel that's right. Thanks in advanc for the help:banghead:

This is the second sidewall bubble in the last couple of days. Hope we aren't seeing a "Firestone" type of issue in the making.

I think the tire "should" be replaced under warranty, but if it were me and they pro-rated it and the cost was very low, I would probably accept that. But that is just me.

Tires are warranted for the first six months, or until worn to 3/32" in front or 5/32" in back, whichever occurs first. the warranty does not cover road hazard damage, however, or damage from under/over inflation.

tire warranty

No mention of tires in the BEST warranty brochure, tires are usually covered by a seperate warranty from the tire manafacturer. They are usually pro-rated and you are given credit toward a new tire based on the wear left on the old. In this type case however, where there is an obvious manafacturer defect, the pro-rated charge maybe waived.
