• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Need to change Brake Rod Linkage...Suggestions please

My new F3T is set in the #3 position. I need it longer. I'm 6', so #4 or #5 brake rod linkage?

Saw in another post you just got your F3.
Did your dealer u-fit you F3? Make them swap linkage or they only cost about $30.00 easy to install.

If you are going to change the pegs to floorboards, you should decide before buying the new linkage. Most folks that get adjusted for pegs and then go to floorboards end up one position closer.

If I had to hazard a guess from your height and assuming a fairly average build, I would guess pegs in position 5 or floorboards in position 4 as a starting point.

I just order the #4 brake linkage rod from cheapmotorcycle parts. I have also order Lamonster's RIP boards for the #4 position. With the length of those boards I believe I can get the occasional stretch I need and normal riding position the other times.

Thanks for the input.
