• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Heres a cheap mod you can do yourself in abut 10 mins or so, or in under 1 beer. Sorry RT guys, your bikes have all these hidden, so it wont really help you out. However for those lf us without RTs this is a nice little appearence mod.

You'll need:

1x Bag of 25ct M6 x 020 stainless fasteners. Grainger part number "6EB52" these are a matte stainless bolt, which goes good with the RSS, If you have a shiny bike, you can use some mothers mag wheel polish and elbow grease to shine them up. 25 should cover every visible body fastener on the bike.

1x 4mm allen key.

5x bags of Hillborn or other (Hillborn is in stock at lowes) 6mm Stainless flat washers. Hillborn part number: "882098"

1x bottle or tube of blue thread locker. You want this for the two "mud flap" bolts on the rear of each of the front fenders.

Instructions:

Remove all those old black fasteners, the 4mm allen key will work in the torx head of the existing fastener. Then put a washer on the new stainless fastener and install it in place of that nasty old black fastener.

Stand back and admire your handywork, and your new "Bling".
