• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I am thinking about putting a GIVI trunk bag on the back of the Spyder. I am looking at either the V46 or E55. I spent several hours going through the albums to see what, if anyone was using these, but only found 3 pics of other models. Is anyone using these bags with the GIVI mount? What do you think of them? How do they look on the Spyder? Anyone have pictures?

I have the V46 and I believe bonecrusher has the E55.

My V46 is behind my BRP back rest. A member here made a rack that attaches to my back rest and I then installed the GIVI mounting plate to it. I'll see if I can find my post with pics. I had to make a snubber and install to the bottom of the GIVI mounting plate to relieve any pressure that may be placed on the back rest.

I like the GIVI topcase and use it a lot. I also like the way the GIVI locks itself into the GIVI mounting bracket. Of course you will have others whom have installed top cases that aren't quite as costly; I can't say one way or the other if they are better or not as good.

If bonecrusher chimes in, I believe he uses his GIVI as a backrest; so, his install is different than mine.

Check out post #21 here:

That long flat rod in the first pic. I didn't use; I used the snubber I mentioned above in its place. The person who made the rack sold his spyder and I believe is no longer a member here.
