• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Need help figuring out audio options

Hi SpyderLovers,

First. let me explain what I have on my 2012 RT SE5. A Zumo 665, with XM/Sirius antenna, mounted with the BRP connector, and a Sena SMH 10 Universal.

When I have my helmet on with the Sena, I can listen to audio from my iPhone, and the Zumo, including MP3 music on the Zumo, and XM/Sirius radio. I cannot listen to the audio from the Spyder, and I know why, and what I need to do to change that.

Now for the issue: When I ride with my half helmet, no Sena, I can listen to audio from the Spyder, including my iPod, and I can get voice directions from the Zumo through the Spyder speakers. However, I cannot get music, nor XM from the Zumo to go through the Spyder speakers. Why can I get voice directions, but not music??

Maybe your speakers are turn off.

Look for "External Speakers" in preference, however, I would thing this setting would affect all outputs to the speakers but you never know.

Also try disabling Bluetooth on the GPS when not using the headset. In addition, check the Garmin website for a software update. The Garmin Zumo 660 very recently had a software update that corrected audio bugs.
