[FONT=Georgia, serif]I saw the story of this Navy Seal on tv yesterday. The father wants an explanation, and not a cover up. I'm not sure if anyone else is familiar with the story. I've provided no links because of the names mentioned, and don't want to have the thread pulled. It sounds as though the mission was not successful, and no one wants to take the blame, except some General who is falling on his sword for others.
Those in the military put their lives on the line every day, especially special operations groups, and are well aware of the dangers. So, even if the mission was a failure, just admit it, and not try to cover it up.
