We went for a really nice ride today with temps in the low 50s but Winds also in the low 50s. We took a ride around Skaneatlas Lake (one of the Finger Lakes in Central NY) and it was soooooo great to be able to get back out on the Spyder even in the high winds of today. The Spyder is so stable though and we even pulled our Lil' Caboose trailer just to make sure everything was in good working order before our trip out to Cuba in April. I just installed the "bearing buddies" on the trailer this winter and wanted to make sure everything was good with them. And not a drop of salt on the roads....we had a lot of rain last night that washed all the salt away and the temps were above freezing so new salt was thrown down again, but I think that is going to change in the next couple of days though with some more cold temps and snow moving back in. It is ashame though because by Wednesday it is supposed to be in the 60s around here.....keeping my fingers crossed that the Salt Gods will be merciful on us who love to ride the Spyder in the winter time.:thumbup::yes:
