• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My trip to Lamont's BBQ

I'm making a real trip out of getting to Lamont's BBQ. Started out taking pics of historical markers in Idaho. Here's a pic of me, my "Tent on a Trailer", and Nid.

Visited my son and family in Muscatine, Iowa for a few days. Here's me at the Mark Twain Overlook with the Mississippi River and Muscatine in the background.

Here's what Mark Twain had to say about sunsets and sunrises there.

Stopped to see friends in Hammond, LA where I learned that they sold their two wheelers and became Spyder Ryders. Mike helped me with changing oil in Nid. Local HD dealership ripped me for five qts of Amsoil, $14/qt, compared to my cost direct from Amsoil of $9.80 + shipping.

I'm now in Houma, LA visiting my daughter. Will begin the trip back toward the BBQ tomorrow afternoon. So far Nid has been performing quite well. Gas mileage is shot pulling the trailer at 75 mph on the super slabs. I built the nose piece in Iowa. I don't think it helped with mileage to speak of, but does make the trailer pull more smoothly.
