• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My Spyder's First "Hybernation"

Well, with the beautiful Indian Summer around here finally ending (It's been great!), I decided to put my F3-T into it's first hibernation today. Gave her a good wash, filled the tank with non-ethanol premium, added a bit of marine fuel stabilizer and put 'er on the battery tender. I think that she's good to go! Except for me ordering a Russel Daylong seat some time over the winter.

I want to also thank everyone who contributes here at Spyder Lovers! As a new ryder, I learned a hell of a lot, both before my purchase and after. I'm so glad that I found this site. Everyone's so friendly and helpful!

Since the end of June I've put 6420 miles on my Spyder. That's more than I've driven my car this year! :D I never would have believed that if someone predicted it.

So, thanks again for a great season. For those who ride all year, stay safe and have fun. For those who, like me, put their spyder away during the cold months, may your spyder (and you!) have a restful vacation.

Now the farkling season begins! Since your spyder is in hybernation.
:welcome:

Deanna
