• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

That is awesome, how long ago did you place your order? I am in waiting mode, it is brutal.

Placed my order April 28th. It's #1340 - well that is the last 4 digits of the vin. I am wondering if someone backed out and it's from another dealer or what. I don't think it's a Premier Edition? I don't care what it is, I am glad I swapped colors because I would have had to wait till end of August to get a red one. I swapped for yellow.

:congrats: :congrats:
Yellow is better any way! Maybe cause I have yellow, I like red also, that is what my wife is thinking of down the road is a red :spyder: .

Any way :congrats:  enjoy ride safe & most important HAVE FUN!!!!!!

I hate to be the one to break it to you, but it's commonly known that Silver Spyders are the fastest. Silver is faster because it's much more slippery. Yellow and red are attractive -- that means they attract things. The attraction creates a drag effect slowing them down. Silver doesn't have that problem. Most people don't even notice silver cars. That's because silver is so slippery its even hard to see.

Silver has been known to be fast for centuries. Ever heard the term "quicksilver?" Silver was considered fast even in the dark ages!

Yellow and red are ok if all you're interested in is looks, but those seeking the best performance should opt for the silver.

Regards,

Mark

"Yes - but a person whose yellow runs the fastest!"

Only in reverse! ;D

I hear the yellow ones have 2 reverse gears...

Hmmm... I've got #1339 (non-PE) on or about May 15th.
I never did understand why they just didn't keep the numbers going.
