My New Rear Tire - it's a Landspider Citytraxx

FedEx just delivered my new rear tire. Will have to wait a few weeks for install, as my spyder is still hibernating. If anyone is looking for a low cost rear tire, this might be the answer, just over $60 delivered

I just bought a new altimax RT45 for the wife's F3S from Discount Tire. And yes gonna wait for a nice Saturday to make the switch. Uncharted territory for me on these three wheel thingys. I do all my own tire changes on my 2 wheelers, but this is slightly different. ��

Interesting .... Tire make is unknown to me ..... I see it is " V " (149 mph) speed rated which is good .... it does have a 560 UTOQ rating (which is good for mileage but usually bad for traction, wet, dry or otherwise) ..... Unknown info about the number of plies for sidewall and or tread area .... So please keep us informed about what you learn about its handling ..... Also, I wouldn't use more than 17/18 PSI in it ..... Good luck ...Mike

.... PS, I am a penny pincher, but I'm very selective where and on what I pinch .... I bought "RIKEN" Raptor HR tires from the Tire Rack delivered for $ 80.00 ..... These are very close in performance to the Altimax RT45's of the same size.

... Unknown info about the number of plies for sidewall and or tread area ....

tread is 1 polyester, 2 steel, 1 nylon, sidewall is 1 polyester. Made in Thailand. MFG date 4623
