• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My new mini touring rig

500cc ninja500r, just finished installing the saddle bags, phone charger and reduced the rear sprocket from 41 tooth to 38 tooth to reduce the rpm from 7,7k to 6.2k at 80mph, I picked up at OKC on my way to the Dallas Motorcycle show, paid $2,500 for it it had 1,300 miles and it is an 09.
At 2.5k it is cheap enough that if it blows apart i will leave it on the side of the road with a "free" sign and i will ride with my wife on the spyder:D
What you guys think?

The soft bags work perfectly, they attach to the turn signals and the passenger foot pegs and that makes them pretty solid, i did some research online and that is the best i could do for bags, i installed a fused cell phone charger inside one of the bags, i took it for a spin today, i got a lot of compliments on the bags, i guess you don't see many touring mini ninjas?

I have ALWAYS liked those 5s! :2thumbs:
They were kind of Kawasaki's next step in the development of the GPZ550s from the mid-eighties.
A mid-displacement bike that could really handle well, and do anything that you asked of it. :firstplace:

Thanks Bob!! The only thing this ninja will not do is win races:D

Nice

Great looking rig, prolly get you lots of miles. Clean as it looks, the maintenence is up to snuff? And, it's just the right size for right wrist exercises also known as gasoline therapy.

The bike was bought for a girl as a present from her father, she disappointed him when she said she didn't wanted it, the man rode every now and then, did the first service at 1000 miles and rode it for another 300 before deciding to sell it, with smaller front sprocket i went from 115mph top end to 129mph, per my gps, (don't tell nobody) i think it will do a 1000 mile trip no problem, will see:)

"Did that smaller cog out back hurt the acceleration much?
