• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My First Farkle, a RT Cup Holder by Eduo Innovations

$105.95 for a cup holder? Ok, so it is by far the most money I've ever paid for a cup holder. However, having a drink on the ready keeps me in the saddle longer. In the past I used the RAM cup holder that swivels, but it is made of cheap plastic, and when empty, would vibrate at certain RPMs; driving me insane.

I wanted something that was solid, custom made for the RT, beautiful (yes, a cup holder can be beautiful), and quality made. After doing my research, Charles Faw at Eduo Innovations had the best one made. Also, unlike all the others which are just cup holders, Charles had the foresight to incorporate a short 7/8" bar to mount a phone or GPS (my Samsung Note II will be here). By combining both highly needed farkles into a one solution mount, this helps keep the controls and dash of the Spyder RT nice and clean. Combine this with the all aluminum design, two different sized insulators and quality hardware that Charles provides; spend 5 minutes to mount it, and it looks like the engineers at BRP were thoughtful enough to include a cup holder with the Spyder. I ordered it on Saturday, and Charles immediately shipped it and it was in the mailbox on Monday. While a bit on the expensive side, I believe Charles makes a beautiful product that is at the top of the class of cup holders, and he provides great customer service.

Once again, I will provide you with detailed pictures to judge for yourself. Just make sure you get a napkin before viewing, so that you have something to clean the drool off your screen when you're done:

You are the lucky one, several of us had to try several cup holders before we discovered that one, it is the best.

That's really nice I think I might be ordering one. Question how do you attach a phone or GPS to it? Thanks that was a great review.

It has a "Bar" for lack of a better word that you screw on the front as a holder, it is the way to go.

There is a 7/8" bar that is included as you see in the pictures. You can then purchase a 7/8" RAM mount, or if there is one available for your device, you can purchase a holder that attaches right on the bar. I use a Samsung Note II, so I purchased a holder that is made for that phone for $6 from Amazon (as shown in the link below):

Very nice..!!

great looking and handy. Congrats..!! :2thumbs: your presentation is a great selling tool...

I have a 2011 RTS LTD with nav. I simple used the other stuff in the OEM GPS box and didn't have to buy anything that I didn't already have on hand.

I too may like this if it works on the tri-axis bars???

I tried the link in the first post and it doesn't work???

He no longer makes or sells them, it is a shame because this was absolutely the finest cup holder out there.

I am just curious

for those of you that have cup holders...what helmets are you wearing. I have a full face Shoei and there is no way I could drink with it on while I am driving or even stopped at a light. ARe you guys wearing half helmets, modular? I am curious

I also ride with a full face helmet and a straw in the drink can or bottle works great, slip it up under the chin bar.
