There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. I just got an EVO phone and have Pandora on it. Now I want to be able to pipe the music to my G4 headset. I have already paired the Evo to the Zumo GPS and the Zumo is paired to the G4. I can hear music from the mp3 files I have on the Zumo but I cannot get the music piped through from the EVO. It always defaults to the mp3 files. :dontknow:
Help please.

I'm not sure how the 660 is different from the 550...first of all, does the 660 emit in stereo? If not, you don't want your phone music to go through the GPS or you are broadcasting a stereo signal in mono and this doesn't work.

Also, with the 550, you cannot successfully use the iphone (EVO might be different) with the ipod/pandora/whatever as the bluetooth signal gets 'messed up.'

You have to:

Connect phone to GPS
Connect GPS to headset
Connect ipod or mp3 through wire to headset as the phone music through the GPS won't work (stereo to mono issue).

Perhaps the 600 functions better?

The 660 does have stereo. And it plays the MP3 files on it in stereo. The EVO outputs the music in stereo as well. I just can't get it to run through the 660 and on to the headset via bluetooth. Maybe I will have to use at cable directly from the phone to the headset. I'd rather not:dontknow:

First of all, you're lucky you have stereo...I'm jealous!!!

Also, I spent HOURS on the phone with Cardo until it was finally explained to me...the bluetooth has issues with two different functions using the same bluetooth feed...this means the phone and pandora/mp3/etc... will compete and usually something will get screwed up.

I did what they recommended...put the plug directly into a separate iPod (in my case)...use the iphone for the phone only...through the GPS...allow the iPod to run directly through the Cardo...plus, direct connect is MUCH louder and has better sound quality...

Thanks so much for your input. I was afraid it would come to direct connecting between the phone and the headset. The thing about that though is I don't think I can use the phone as a phone in that scenario. I just don't get it though. The gps recognizes the phone and and the scala recognizes the gps. I can receive and make calls but I can't get the music to go through from the phone to the headset via the gps. I emailed scala systems today and waiting to hear back. If anyone is doing this I hope they will chime in.
