• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Music volume control

Hi all,

I have a 2012 RT SE5. I used to be able to press and hold the down volume button for 2 seconds, and it would mute the music. A couple days ago, that quit working. I checked all the audio features, and I don't see anything related to that as an option. Any ideas??

That's the way that it SHOULD work... :dontknow:
Can you still decrease the volume with the "down" button? Try incrementally tapping it down, and see if you can get it low enough.
Otherwise; it sounds like a trip to the dealer may be in order. :opps:
The buttons on my 2014 can be a bit "fussy" at times...
Could your thumb be moving around JUST enough to be losing contact with the "Sweet Spot"?

Additional: I find that if radio is in the mute position (it is always in mute if it is not "on." (There is no off that I know of.) One push of the up button gives the radio screen, another push puts it to the volume that you had it previously. From there, you can raise or lower the volume (up or down button) one bar at a time. When you have had your fun quotient of radio, holding the down button for a couple seconds makes it go away.

Don't know if this is per "specs" but it is how I use my radio.
