Multi-function display

O.k., I'm a new-bee and I have a question. What does it mean when start your bike and the display comes up in the color orange. I don't see a problem icon and nothing comes up when I to bring up a fault query. I do notice that this happens in the evening or in my garage. Is this a built in night time driving function so that you don't lose your night vision?:dontknow:

Yes, the screen on the 2013 and maybe the 2012 turn orange at night. The older ones turned blue.

it's like the gps that changes to a black background at dusk... It is less light in your eyes but still clearly visible...:thumbup:

I actually prefer the older display color scheme...
The redline on the tach was WAAAY more apparent, and I personally think that orange should only mean one thing... one HORRIBLE thing...:shocked:

But that's just me...

Since Im a curious creature...Has anyone figured out a way to turn 2013 screens blue as opposed to the orange? I mean it is a LCD screen so can it be done by the dealer plugging their computer in or is this something we can do on our own?
