They fell on beaches and islands, in sands and frigid snow.
They were shot down, drowned and hit by enemy fire.
Explosions and friendly fire claimed them. They are buried at sea, in Arlington and little towns everywhere. In marshes and mountains across the
world lay our Brothers.
France has 11 American cemeteries and Belgium 3. In the Philippines lay more than 17,000 Heroes.
Today 1,649 men are still missing from Vietnam. 78,000 from WW11 and over 8,000 from Korea. Over 3,000 from WW1 and more than 10 US military remain
unaccounted for in the war on terror.
431,046 Americans gave their lives in the last 6 major conflicts, that we may live in freedom.
We owe them a debt we cannot repay.
To carry our deep gratitude and remembrance daily, and share it with our young is the least we can do.
As the greatest generations pass, we owe it to them to ensure the future generations NEVER FORGET.
