• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Mounting Flags on License Plate ??

I bought some motorcycle flags for special rides. ( Like the USO Run in Missouri to Ft. Leonard Wood - June 13th)

Its a double flag mount. Provided is a metal bracket about 13" long and 1.5" tall that has mount holes on both ends for flag holders. The bracket is to be installed behind your license plate with both ends extending out from the plate.

Above link shows the dual flag set-up. (SEE PRODUCTS - "BANDIT" ITEM

Question: Any ideas if this bracket is enough to stiffen the license plate holder on the fender to do this? I'm thinking another plate of metal on underside of fender will be needed. So from top to bottom, the license bolt will be through the plate, the tagflag bracket, the plastic fender, then finally another metal plate under the fender.....?

CaptainRyder I just redid my light and if I remember right the metal inner fender extends to the top bolts so you should be alright. However I don't think I would mount the flags except on special occasions due to metal might crack from the twisting motion. Might consider some large fender washers on the back side.

I just got flag mounts and flags from www.bikerforlife.com. Robert Harvey is a great guy and helped a lot.

I have a pretty solid bracket with either a 14.5 inch or 8 inch staff on it...still deciding which to use...I have a thread here with this discussion...

His item is very uncomplicated...take a look at it on the other thread...
