Hi everybody. You may recall previous posts I have submitted about the Motorcycle Ride for DAD, a fundraising motorcycle ride for prostate cancer research and education. I am on the organizing committee for the yearly ride in my city, and we had our ride today. It was very successful - it looks like our donations will be up about 20% over last year, which is great considering the general state of the economy.
The best part is that last year, I was the only Spyder rider, on a factory demo Spyder. This year, I had my own Spyder in the event, and two other Spyder owners were also participating.
Here are a few pics from the event. The first is my wife Gail and Spyder owner Noukone Thammavongsa standing in front of Noukone's silver Spyder, the second is the three Spyders at our second poker run stop, and the last one is a pic of "Duty Calls" a rock band composed of London Police Service members, entertaining at the event's closing lunch.
Cheers,
Bruce
