• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Motorcycle.com wants to hate the F3

Watch this. Notice their facial expressions and the carful choice of words when describing their experience testing these machines. The way I read it is, they want to hate them, but they can't because they had fun riding them and recognize the advantages the front two wheels configuration has. But I don't fault them completely. They also don't want to get hate mail from the hardcore faithful, so I do recognize there reluctance to be fully truthful.

It is obvious when "newbies" to the brand do tests such as the above. When the :spyder2: came out in 2008 some of the MC magazine reviews were very interesting. They generated some interesting threads and discussions.

Also obvious, the reviewers were a bit out of their league sometimes. And then...you should have heard what the Wingers and the HD enthusiasts were saying...:yikes::yikes:

:agree:...There is a definite learning curve for Spyders, and anyone who says or has said ....".well I just got on one and could run with any crotch rocket " is smoking some pretty good stuff , and I want some :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:.................Motorcycle Mags are almost entirely dedicated to TWO WHEEL MTC'S........they will discuss the three wheel type to SELL more Mags, no other reason.....So anything they say I take with a grain of salt.....Mike

They were like, the government says these are motorcycles so we have to review them.

But I don't think the Spyder should be grouped with the Slingshot and Morgan since they are more car-like. The Spyder should more correctly be compared to the triked Goldwing or Tri-Glide. JMHO
