Can any body tell us if there is any Brand name motels ( Holiday Inn Express, Hampton, Country inn Suites) around Watkins Glen,NY. On our way up to spyderquest we are planning on stopping by Watkins Glen to check out the falls. We seen there is a Budget Inn in Watkins Glen but, we were just wondering if there is anything else in the general area say within 20mi. We were planning on staying the 9th and 10th of Sept. Then heading out to spyderquest on the 11th. By the way can anyone tell me the driving time from there to Queensbury NY, we need the quickest way there because we have an appointment for both spyders to be service on the 11th. John There is a holiday inn in Elmira, N>Y> About 23 miles south of Watkins glen, don't know if this on your way or not, but AAA gives it 3 diamonds. 607-734-4211. Hope this helps.
