MoGang to MoGang...... Thank you very much

Joanie

MOgang member & Pyro-Lady
First off, please don't beat me if I forget someone!!!

As everyone is aware ALOT of work went into Spyderfest 2012, personally I had to go back to work to recuperate, and this was our first Spyderfest. Some individuals were out in front for lack of a better term more than others. But those behind the scenes did a tremendous amount of work. I would just like to say thanks to everyone...:firstplace: MoGang is #1 in my book.

John for making sure we all got fed. :bbq:
Connie for making sure while Steve was out running everything else got done, work schedules for Friday morning.... etc...
Scott & Paula for stepping in a selling t-shirts.
Sharon for being where ever you needed to be and helping out... but you did get your bottle of wine
Joe for being one heck of a blocker on the Hermann wine run
Lily for relentlessly trying to kill that very large spider on my shoulder!!! (Think you finally broke his front leg!!)
Steve for making sure the website was kept up and running computers and charges and etc...............
Linda for making sure everyone had a registration bag...and keeping me in line!!!
Bridgett & Don ... vendor village... enough said
Brenda & Jeff for taking care of all the printing
Cliff and Patty, I think I always saw you parking spyders or moving chairs..
Murphy Brown for making sure everyone knew if there was an open room somewhere
BJ & Dennis....for making sure the women had beautiful trinkets for the ladies ride and having some fantastic spyder stuff for me to buy, oh yeah and everyone else to buy as well.
Mo Lee for returning from his ryde with less people than he started with... (That is his goal.)
Brenda for leading a great Rock Ryde on Thursday.
Jim & Linda for leading a great Hermann Ryde
Mary & Ed for taking great pics on the ladies ryde.
George & Jane for being our ambassadors to Cuba.
Peggy, Jane & Brenda for helping get those name tags finished on Wednesday morning!
Vanessa for putting up with Len and all of us too!!!
MoLee, Don & Gary for really leaving Linda speechless on Friday morning!!!

I can't say enough wonderful things about all of you!!!!!! Again, please don't beat me if I forgot someone.

We have met some wonderful people and have friends for life!!! Spyder Ryders are the best!!!!

Love you all!!!!

PS Do you think we could get Lamont to add Spyder, Ryders, Ryde, and Spyderfest to the dictionary so it doesn't think we are spelling something wrong?!?!

I couldn't have wrote it any better then what you did, perfect.. I must add that you and your husband put on one HELL (did I type that? Heck..) of a display of fireworks on Friday night lights, that my friend was "Right on the Money".. I thank you both for that...

I, too, am beyond words for all the MO Gang members and their dedication for making this event go so smoothly.

Has anyone gotten a tally or a round-about figure for how many came to Cowtown each day? Whatever the number, YOU all did AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bridgett & Don ... vendor village... enough said

Umm...NOT "enough said"! They did WAY more work than just the vendor village!

They worked their butts off for this whole event. I would venture to say they worked harder than anyone with the possible exception of Len.

They did way more work than the vendor village. They were also the ones who kept the the drink bins (with ice) full and collected all the trash that we SpyderLovers deposited.

They deserve more than "enough said"...

JOANIE!!!! WHERE DO I SEND THE MONEY FOR THAT WINE!!!!????? I don't like having a debt for such dedication to the wine industry. I didn't think you would bring back a bottle!!! whodathunk! Thank You for getting me that one!!!! Pm me for where to send $$$$$. BTW Where DID you put all those bottles of wine in that :spyder2: of yours???:roflblack:

The cool thing about MoGang is that ALL contribute. It is a great group of folks to work with.

It is the best form of peer pressure. You see your fellow MoGang member busting their A$$ and that puts good pressure on you to keep up! The "synergy" of this group is incredible. It is tough to toss out names or even assign tasks because SO many folks did so many different jobs to pull this off.

Joanie is correct. There were hours and weeks and months of work that remains unseen, but is greatly appreciated nonetheless! Then there is the work that is apparent to everyone at the event, such as moving tables, chairs, sound equipment, trash etc etc etc.

I just want to thank the entire group and let you each know how much your efforts (both seen and unseen) are appreciated!

And finally the BIGGEST thanks goes out to all of you who rode MANY miles to party with us and your fellow SpyderLovers!!!

What a great time it was and see you next year!

:clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:Joanie, you did forget YOU and KEVORAMA ... Pyro junkies. The fireworks were...... well I can't find words to express how great they were. I truly believe you two blew everyone away at Friday Night Lights!!:2thumbs:

George and I enjoyed meeting you all and have posted many photos on the Cuba MO Murals Facebook page as well as our pages. There should be something in the Cuba paper as well. Now, that I really know what MOGang does, they rock!. I agree with the dictionary change. It is always trying to correct my spelling.
Safe travels in the days ahead.

This is what the MOgang reminded me of nojoke  :firstplace:

If there was one of you I did not talk to about how well this event was I will say it on here. It was the best even I have been to for anything I have done to date. You seem to have over three times the amount of people than last year asking you questions and it was handled twice as fast.

Any problem that was brought up was adjusted for and fixed as best as possible. I have told people down there and when I am out and about that 98 out of 100 spyders owners are awesome there are 2 *******s owners (like myself I have told) and the the MO gang handled them too. Ride feedback, wrench stuff, food, locations and timelnes were changed so expertly that the group made it look pro.

Ratt's off to you.

There's alway 'one' in the bunch that doesn't get what "enough said" means. It meant that they rocked and kept it totally under control. It was meant as an absolute compliment not a slam. I spent a weeks vacation WORKING with these people, so I'm well aware of how much it takes to pull this off. Everyone did an awesome job. Some of it was actually planned and the rest of it was by the seat of our pants. We were very lucky and blessed that the crowd was such a good bunch of folks.

I am not a MOGang member (although several of you threatened to adopt me), but I would like to chime in here anyway. You guys all work so hard in our behalf, and have an amazing amount of stamina and energy. I am in awe every time I see you in action. Seth said it best, if I didn't personally thank you there, I will thank you here. Well done!

P.S. Recuperate or not, Joanie, I have never seen anyone show so much energy and move so fast after way too many long, hard days. I am still amazed!

Well said, those of you above...

and a heartfelt Thank You! from me as well...

Scotty, it is Thursday tomorrow, don't think I have slightly started to recuperate yet!!! But would I change any of it... NOT ONE BIT!!!!!!

Mogang is the BEST!

I also would like to say that this was my first Spyderfest and God willing, not my last. We (Scott and I) had a great time working and having fun. Got to meet some fantastic people. Thanks to Len and all of Mogang for a terrific Spyderfest.
MOGANG RULES!

You guys rocked, and You are correct. This won't be your last SpyderFest even if we have to kidnap you!!!

Mogang,..............what can I say that hasn't already been said. You all have shown the world how we throw a party!!! There were trying times behind the curtains a few times, but you ALL pulled together and pulled it off...... I think they call that grace underpressure. You guys worked way way to hard and did it with a smile, a handshake and willingness to over come and get done whatever had to be done.

We had to pull out the 24 hour rule to get through all of the days. As one of you, I proudly have the Mogang flag flying, and thank God for for you all, you all have strong points that come in to play and one point or another, you guys make this event what it is, a party for our friends, nothing more nothing less! So as a proud member of you, I stand in your numbers and with the most humble heart I say "thank you" it is all because of you. Truly an event for the people by the people.
