• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Mode switch getting funky- anyone else?

Turn key on, hit the mode switch, hit the starter, vrooom, and off we go.
Not so fast on mine these days- turn the key on, hit the mode switch 5-10 times, hold it in, keep on watching the words scroll on t he dash, finally it works and the dashboard clears, and I can start the Spyder.
I better stop by the dealer and order a switch for the next service...or sooner.

Am I the only one?

Check to see if your relays have worked loose in the fuse box. Just pull them and reinsert

Which mode switch are you using? The dash ones have been known to be flakey. I use the one on the left handlebar

Left handlebar. Can you push the one on the dash and get it to start? I hadn't ever though to use any but the handlebar one.

I know people have had problems with the funky switch mechanism for the cluster mounted buttons. But I've not heard anyone having issues with the hsndlebar mounted part.
