MO-Ar-Kan Rally/Ride

Deciding a date:

1. Labor Day Weekend May 23-24-25
2. Flag Day Weekend June 13-14
3. Father's Day June 20-21

Of course, I'm game for any of those weekends, but I just voted for 13-14 June. I think this gives more people an opportunity to make plans that will make this a larger ride. I'd like to see this be accessible to as many people as possible. Additionally, June 14th is the Army's birthday. I know many members of this forum are serving, or have served at one point or another. We could use the date to also try to ride for a cause, such as the Army wounded warrior program, or the veteran's purple heart association, or anything else to recognize and aid the men and women that have made a great sacrifice to afford the rest of us the freedom to even choose a date to ride. I am currently a squad leader in the Warrior Transition Unit at Ft. Leavenworth and could possibly coordinate with veteran's charities to make this a real possibility. Our primary mission would be to have fun, but if we can make a positive impact in the mean-time, I think it would make the ride more memorable. Just a thought to get the ideas flowing.

GREAT idea Captain,, I have seen in other forum this type of voting processes and it works good,, Lets see how this does for a week or two, Again, GREAT idea.. I will post a message on the first one you did so that members know to go to this one and vote..
