• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Took my :spyder2: to the shop today for the 600mi maintenance. I went "a little" over. So anyways, I get to the dealer and they tell me a they'll have it done Wednesday next week!

So until then I'll ride vicariously through you all. Keep the posts coming!

Took quackerz in on Saturday they said it will be ready on Tuesday. A week is to long. Make sure you check the milage when you get it back. I think they are keeping it to ride it:joke:

welcome. Like others have said, that seems awfully long for the 600 mile service. They must be very busy.

Wow, I had to kill 2 hours while they did my first service. Rode the 60 miles there then home when done. Sorry yours is going to take so long.

By the way Welcome!

I'm guessing he is going to Coleman Powersports, and they told me they would need my spyder for 3-4 days as well because they were really backed up.:gaah:

I didnt go there because of that.

Why can't you book it in on the day theye can do the service and keep riding it in mean time. Unless there are problems you need fixed I am sure a few extra miles arn't goint to hurt anything.
 Just my 2 cents worth.

:agree:

They (Colman Powersports, Falls Church) said it was first come first serve so I had to keep it there. Personally I think that I should be able to make an appointment. :gaah:

For those in the D.C. metro area

1. Where are you taking your :spyder2:

2. When are we going to get together and ride!

I bought mine at Coleman, but I really dont like them at all.

When I called, I tried to ask if they could put me on the list and call me the day before they were going to work on it and i'd drop it off right away. Beofre I got the full sentence out, they were rude and said nope no way.

I took mine to RAM cycles in Rockville MD, they are awesome. They arent an authorized dealer for spyders but they are great.
