• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

"Missing Heat Shield" with Seal FloorBoards?

I bought the Missing Heat Shield without realizing how it installed to the Spyder. I have Seal FloorBoards installed and they bolt to where the heat shield gose. My question is has anyone ever installed both at the same time? Can I just stick the heat shield to the back of the floorboard mount? Any help from someone in the know would be wonderful. I would love to have them both and I hate sending things back :banghead:

I just installed the missing heat shield on my f3t and I can tell you when it sticks on its not coming off . If you clean and prep it according to the instructions you will be fine . I think BRP should have done this when they build the bikes . First bike I have owned that didn't have an inner belt guard .

Thanks, but it is not the belt guard it is the heat shield. The seal floorboards are mounted to where you would normally stick the shield.
