• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Mirrors on 2011 RS SE5

I searched topics and didn't locate an answer.......
My problem is with handlebar risers my grips and hands are right in the way of the factory mounted mirrors.
Are there any bar mounted mirrors available like on a Harley or may other bikes that will mount on the Spyder? Generic mounts would not work due to the different design of the Spyder handle bars.

Anyone else run into this problem? And is there a fix.

Thanks in advance

i believe what you need are up n out extensions by tricled or custom dynamics

Mirror Extensions Best investment I made

I had the same problem with my 2012 RS SE5. Almost caused an accident on the highway once. I got the extensions and could not be happier! The best money I ever spent on the Spyder!

I just ordered a set from Black Widow Supply for 129.00 it was the best price I saw. I appreciate you pointing me in the right direction. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1437414367.314192.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1437414427.991481.jpg

If anyone else is interested the first picture shows the mounts.
The second picture of the yellow Spyder shows one side factory and the other side with the extension on it.

the only thing is the wiring. You either remove the plugs (mine had instructions on how to do that) or cut and splice. The turnsignal wires run through the upper arm. The other thing is the half covers are really tight (Nelson Riggs) when extensions are installed. But they work great...

i would throw a caution up to purchases from black widow. There are bad reports on here regarding them.
