• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

MICRON MUFFLER PROBLEMS

Anyone own a Micron experience these problems?

1) Constantly repacking every 1000/2000 miles.

2) I have blown the front rubber seal out 4 times since Jan '09.

3) Finish (black to silver) is gone. Kind of an ugly purple now.

Not only does the Micron require constant maintenance, it is

very expensive. Micron packing over $30, the rubber seals went

from around $17 ea to around $23/$25 ea now. I feel like I can no

longer afford to maintain the Micron. Any else having problems?

I had to re-pack very often also but I've installed a Juice Box and got it to run a little richer and pipe re-pack is cut in half, IMO a Micron without a juice box is way too lean and too much maintenance. If you have a Juice box just richen it up.

No Magic Neon is a very good source for a Juice Box

I've had my Micron for 4,000+ miles and have had no problems or needed repacking. I opened it to look a couple times and everything was just fine.

mine did the same thing, after almost 2 years and the ugly purple color i switched to the carbon fiber two brothers. it has a little more deeper sound and it is so much lighter! i found the canister on ebay for $120 and i got the spyder midpipe from two brothers for $100. i'm hoping it'll get rid of the surging i've been having lately!
