I had no problem w/the install. My son who is in votech school showed me a trick to prevent exhaust leaks.Take a rubber mallet and wooden round dow and re-shape the header to engine end so as to widen it alittle and just enough to place the header gasket on the inside diameter. With the gasket in place, align with the connecting pipe and tap it into position working it back and forth.Once snug, place gasket ring around pipe end and line it up half way between the two ends(not up against the pipe stop).Slowly tighten the ring and make sure to align the bolt for easy access for future adjustments ,make the ring snug.Do the same for the intake on the muffler and align the ring in the same way as the header pipe(halfway between the stops).Working back and forth from the header and the muffler tighten the bolts, this will also help with aligning the setup.20 mins.,done,no leaks 1st. time.Used this trick on my leaking exhaust on my pickup.Cured!Old dog learned anew trick.
