I think that you are both wrong. First, if we are going to lower ourselves to correcting every misspelled or grammatically incorrect statement on this site then, I quit, spellcheck and such on phones and tablets is more wrong than right and besides that so what. "The purpose of communication is the transfer of thought from one person to another, as long as you understand what was meant, it matters not what I said!" Unless you are an English teacher and in that case you are naturally annoying anyway, so preach on, nobody is listening.
Secondly, the rather negative cursing was not really necessary, you are better than that. Just accept it that Mike is annoying on occasion, but he means no harm, and he is often able to offer rather unique and helpful dialogue to many issues that come up.
