I just went over and picked up my ride/parking headlight sticker, my pins, t shirts, and concert tickets. One of the guys who works there said that they expect 12,000 riders this year. I think he is exaggerating, but he DID say that the newspapers were wrong, we had 8,000 motorcycles last year, not the 7,000 originally reported.

I rode the last three runs, and I would not be surprised if 2013 was over 8,000. I was told when registering for the 2013 run that the 2012 run had over 7,000, and there did seem to be more in the 2013 run.

I will not be able to make the ride, but will be on the side of the road cheering everyone on. I will keep an eye out for you.
