• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Maybe a new owner soon!

At the office, I went up front to make a few copies, when a lady came in and asked if anyone in this office owned the Spyder. I replied that I did, and she told me that she loved them and wanted one, but all of her friends kept telling her to get a Harley, etc. She doesn't feel that she would want to try to operate a 2-wheeler, and asked if I liked my bike.

Of course, I LOVE my bike, and told her so. I told her to not worry about what they said, and get what she wanted. I told her a bit about all the safety features, where she could purchase, etc. I think she is going to look for a used one, so I directed her here; at least the folks here probably have taken care of their rides, and she could get a good idea what a used one should cost, regardless of where she purchases.

So, hi to the nice lady if she is reading this, and welcome to the Spyderhood. I am really looking forward to having another Spyder buddy in the area! :2thumbs:

:welcome: if you are reading this. Be sure to check out the thread about Women and their Spyders. It may help you in your decision to purchase a Spyder.
