Talked to Frank @ Motorsports of Tampa and it's looking good for the middle of Oct. :doorag: If I'm lucky I'll be riding my Spyder to Daytona. :hot: :2excited:

my dealer told my wife sometime in the middle of Oct. I m bummed that I ll be in Seattle and wont be there for the delivery. She s gonna go pick it up. Its the "talk of the town" that she s gonna be the one with the new trike while I m toiling my ass off to pay for it 2100 miles away. I m sure she ll have fun on it,tho. I ll probably go home for Christmas and get to look at it in the garage along with the 10 feet of snow thats gonna be in the yard.

I m very tempted to fly home at the end of October and drive it back to Seattle. But I know that aint financially feasable,dammit. Plus my back couldnt take that kind of a trip, I m sure.

Same here Lamont! Planning on going anyway but having the Spyder would make it that much better. I'll be towing in a trailer behind a motorhome though.

:joke: sounds like a party in daytona!!! i'm supposed to get mine in jacksonville, fl oct. 16 and then we are heading to daytona for the rally. we are staying at a campground on ormond beach!!!! keep your fingers cross that they get my bike by then. i'm # 4 on their list. they are getting two bikes this week and then 2 more the next week..etc...

We are staying on the infield at Daytona for the bike races. If we all have our bikes it shouldn't be too difficult to find each other. It's not like there will be a few hundred of these running around. I know Can-Am is supposed have a demo setup. I actually registered for it but hopefully won't need to attend :bigthumbsup:

You would think that Can-am would do all they could to have a good showing of Spyders at Biketoberfest. If they show up close to the date of pick up I may just stay down there and ride around a bit. :doorag:

If it's within a couple of days I may just ride down to the Keys and turn around and head back. We should put a meet & greet together. :doorag:
